Reflex

time is wide, wide awake.
hate myself. i am fake.
what did i do? please ignore.
i've been through it all before.

i've seen the flowers in spring.
boils back down to the same old thing.
i've seen the birds fly still
and if nothing else stops you, nothing will.
i've seen the cancers rebound.
pathos makes the world go 'round.

time is wide or so i've known.
time to make it on my own.
i would have tried to tear apart
but couldn't shed this tinfoil heart.
